Ceredigion Neighbourhood Policing Team Community Surgery
Your local neighbourhood policing team will be holding open Community Surgeries in the Siloh Chapel Vestry on the first Thursday of every month between 10.30 - 11.30am.
We look forward to seeing you and listening to your views about your community and to discuss any local issues that you may have.

The Light Club
The Light Club is a Sunday school-style club that meets every Wednesday evening at Llansantffraed Parish Church between 5.00 and 6.00p.m. It is open to all children between the ages of 4 and 11. Although it takes place in the Church and is run by Church members, the club is open to everyone in the village who is interested in joining.

Children at the Light ClubThe hour is spent learning about Jesus through stories, games, craftwork, songs and prayers, at the end of which we enjoy some squash and biscuits. We follow the Scripture Union Light course, which is designed specifically for young children. It is a very relaxed, informal atmosphere and the children have lots of fun. At the end of the year the children prepare and take part in a Christmas Play, which is performed at the Church. A lot of fun is had preparing for this. At the moment 12 children attend the Light Club with between 8 and 10 being regular attendees. Mrs Wendy Morgan runs the club with the help of the Vicar, the Reverend Julian Smith and his wife Mrs Deborah Smith.

Llanon Women's Institute
Women's Institue logoThere has been a WI in Llanon since 1957 and it has always taken an
active part in the village. Every year the WI has a stall in the Carnival to
raise money for its own funds and for different charities.

Members of all ages attend the meetings and the programme is the result of joint planning so everyone has  the chance of suggesting speakers and activities. The County and National headquarters organise courses,
conferences and workshops so that members have the chance to expand their horizons and learn new and traditional skills.
